What do you do at Champions Design?
I build identity systems, with a special focus on logo design and iconography. Working closely with our strategy team in all aspects of the branding process, I also find opportunities to incorporate illustration, packaging, signage, and environmental design for our clients.
What got you into this field of work?
I’m a self-taught designer, having pivoted out of a career in advertising and media. In the years prior to joining Champions, I was a freelancer in Boston as well as a designer/art director in Kansas where I honed my craft in creating brand systems and logos, many of which have been recognized by top industry publications.
What is your motto?
“Don’t sweat the petty stuff and don’t pet the sweaty stuff.” Be discerning, pay attention to the little details, but keep a sense of perspective and humor.
