Giffords: Courage to Fight Gun Violence

Giffords is an advocacy and research organization focused on gun violence prevention. Founder Gabby Giffords believes gun laws can save lives. 

Gabby represented the 8th District of Arizona in Congress from 2006 to 2012. On January 8, 2011, she was shot while meeting with constituents. The shooter killed six people and wounded 13 others. Despite her critical injuries, Gabby has embarked on a courageous journey of rehabilitation and activism.
